Seven Oaks To Open Ninth and Tenth Buildings For Flex Office Space
Next month will mark a milestone as we complete construction on the ninth and tenth buildings at Seven Oaks Business Park.
These buildings will open nearly 20 years after local real estate icon Bob Parks began to envision flex office space in Smyrna, which was mostly unheard of in Smyrna and Rutherford County back in 2005.
Parks worked with Dow Smith Company to create Seven Oaks, a professional flex office complex located just off Interstate 24, two miles north of State Route 840 and two miles south of Sam Ridley Parkway. The high-end, multi-building development includes 2,000 square feet of incremental finished tenant offices, loading docks with 10x10 overhead doors in the rear, and warehouse/condo space throughout the development. Dow Smith Company has now designed and constructed ten buildings on the property.
Dow Smith Company CEO Joey Rhyne says the business park has been popular because it’s so rare for the area. It is home to such businesses as Procon Products, Elrod Engineering, C&C Electric, Protein Snack Shop, Dr. Chris Thompson, and Tasty Table Event Catering.
“Because of its proximity to I-24 and 840 and Nashville, it’s in a unique spot to have office space with flex available,” Joey says. “There’s really nothing else like it from a geographic standpoint. Between Almaville Road and Nashville, there’s not a lot of property like this available. I really think it’s one of a kind.”
